I am Sudhigya Pant, a lawyer by profession, an endurance athlete by practice, and an outdoor practitioner by lived experience.
Discipline, endurance, and service
My life has always sat at the intersection of discipline, endurance, and service.
Professionally, I work in litigation across criminal, civil, commercial, and contract law. Outside the courtroom, I fly as a licensed pilot, climb mountains, and spend extended time in high-altitude and remote environments where reliability is not optional. It is survival.
I have climbed Lobuche East (6,119 m), Chulu West (6,500 m), and Mera Peak (6,476 m), and trekked extensively across Nepal. I understand weight limits, environmental exposure, gear failure, and the cost of equipment that does not perform when it matters.
KAPI was born from that reality.
Why KAPI exists
KAPI is named after Hanuman, a symbol of strength, agility, determination, and selfless service. Those are not abstract ideals to me. They are functional requirements in the environments I operate in.
I did not want to create an outdoor brand that looked adventurous. I wanted to build one that earned trust through use.
KAPI is designed for people who move through the world with intention: trekkers and climbers, field professionals operating under weight and durability constraints, and individuals who need fewer garments that perform repeatedly, not wardrobes that perform once.
Summit to Sight
KAPI is inseparable from Summit to Sight.
The initiative partners with Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences, co-founded by my father, Senior Advocate Sushil Kumar Panth, and his lifelong friend, Dr. Sanduk Ruit, one of the world's most respected ophthalmic surgeons.
Their work restored sight to hundreds of thousands of people. My responsibility is to carry that legacy forward differently, but faithfully.
Through Summit to Sight, a dedicated product line will be created, 5% of revenue will fund cataract surgeries, and every purchase will be directly linked to restored vision.
This is not branding. It is continuation.
Why Everest
KAPI will launch from Mount Everest not for spectacle alone, but for alignment.
Everest represents the highest standard of endurance, a testing ground where failure is honest, and a story that cannot be fabricated.
Launching from the top of the world creates authentic proof of product credibility, marketing material that will stand for decades, and a foundation strong enough to attract premium investment and global ambition.
No one has done this before, and that is precisely why it matters.
The long view
KAPI is not a seasonal brand. It is a long-term commitment to building outdoor products that reflect strength without excess, performance without compromise, and purpose without dilution.
I am not building this to follow the market. I am building it to set a standard.
